- General Dictionaries of my choice: my GENERAL ENGLISH DICTIONARY REFERENCE
Most general dictionaries, include musical terms and their etymology. Musical terms are usually in italian, some in french and german. I trust dictionaries which include pronunciation in International Phonetic Alphabet, and ETYMOLOGY. Usually there is a latin word behind every italian term.
